Hello there new friends!

You're likely here because like me you enjoy being the hostess with the mostest. Do the words cheese board set your heart on fire? Does curating the perfect tablescape bring you impossible joy? Then you’re in the right place. I adore making my friends and family feel at home, in my home. I love spending hours preparing for a dinner party. Over time I have accumulated a collection of glassware, vases and platters but could never find table linens that fit the bill. I was after something that was durable and long lasting, something that could essentially be passed down a generation (hello linen) but also important that they had a sense of homeliness which is why embroidery was chosen.

As a child of design enthusiasts I was often surrounded by beautiful homewares and furniture growing up and always wanted a career in this area but wasn’t sure how to make it happen. In 2023, after much umming and ahhing I did the unthinkable and quit my job in advertising, using my nest egg I’d been saving for a house deposit to start Clumsy Daisies.
